Trying to play a game through Ubisoft Connect and having trouble … connecting? Every game service goes down from time to time and it can be frustrating to be met with errors when you’re trying to boot up a game.

What’s going on with Ubisoft Connect?

Ubisoft Connect appears to be suffering from a serious outage as of 3 p.m. PT on Thursday, March 14. According to DownDetector, a website that tracks service outages, reports started rolling in about issues with Ubisoft Connect at around 12:30 p.m. ET, and over 2,500 outage reports have been made in the past few hours.

Some players are having trouble connecting to specific games, while others are reporting that the entire service is down.

Ubisoft has acknowledged the outage, but has no timeline on when it expects the issues to be resolved.

We're aware of issues affecting connectivity in multiple titles and are working towards resolving this ASAP.

Ubisoft Connect is down, locking players out of their games

Ubisoft's online PC launcher, Ubisoft Connect, is currently experiencing connectivity issues that prevent players from accessing their games. The official Ubisoft Support team has acknowledged the issue but has not given a timeframe for when the service will be back online.

Wonder Woman game canceled as Warner Brothers shuts down 3 studios

Warner Bros. Discover Inc. has announced the closing of three of its video game studios: Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. It is also canceling the upcoming Wonder Woman game. The company issued a statement regarding the decision.

"We have had to make some very difficult decisions to structure our development studios and investments around building the best games possible with our key franchises — Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC and Game of Thrones. After careful consideration, we are closing three of our development studios — Monolith Productions, Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. This is a strategic change in direction and not a reflection of these teams or the talent that consists within them. The development of Monolith's Wonder Woman videogame will not continue forward."

PlayStation Network is still down after more than 12 hours

Last night, PlayStation Network went down across the globe — and it's still not back online. The number of complaints about the outage peaked around 7 PM, with more than 14,000 users reporting issues at DownDetector. When the service first went offline, many players assumed it was temporary — perhaps overloaded servers on a Friday night — but you still can't log on, and the outage has revealed more cracks in Sony's network.

Sony posted on X that the company was aware of the outage and suggested players check status.playstation.com for more information. Unfortunately, every single indicator from Account Management to PlayStation Direct is currently offline, and there isn't an estimated resolution time in sight.
