Yeah, that felt misleading. Hopefully further development will see more customization, most specifically including the main character. Picking the sex/gender of all characters would go a long way. However, it looks to me like this one is just going to be a mostly linear story with a series of loops that you will be able swap character models. Unreal and Unity should be used for immersive gameplay that's just shy of the capabilities of VR. Have you seen some of the games that use Unreal/Unity and they're just text-based games? WTF!? What a waste of an incredible engine and a SHITLOAD of my hard drive space, lol. At least this one is a fully-animated game with some decent model work. Let's see how it goes.
