I have probably "read" over 200 vn's, this is only the second where I am reading everything and engaging in the story. Thank you for the beautiful stories.

Apparently the artstyle is a dealbreaker for some, which I myself have never understood because I enjoy itGood evening, I have a quick question regarding the game: Are the arts made by the developer? Because it strongly reminds me of the game Transylvania. It's a super beautiful artistic style and that's why the game interests me!

- The backgrounds of most images were made with Stable Diffusion 1.5 - custom mix, lots of editing, lots of excuses, yada yada - it's still AI. I have to point it out. If this is a dealbreaker, I understand.
- All portraits and key art are still handmade. The majority of h-scenes as of v0.2.7 contain AI elements - I draw a base, then img2img on top of it and edit. All h-scenes going forward and some retroactively will be AI-assisted in this way.
Considering that I pretty much feel the same way (For me my current favs is Being a DIK and Ripples, two games I initially just assumed would be sex filled slamfests but turned out to have interesting stories and character-), I gotta ask
What's the other VN that made you feel as engaged in the story as this one does?

Oddly enough it was Single Again, the girls personalities/actions/reactions all felt very real and realistic. Especially in the beginning.

Hope the portraits get replaced with AI cg one day, at least the ones where the og portrait looks like a granny while the sex scene has a cute girl.
The games writing is heavy on the lore of the world and how everyone suffers from the oppression. It's like mix of anime nazi germany military rule, spartan eugenics, inefficient communist factories in gray british cities during industrial revolution, asian sweatshop work-life balance with peasants required to augment their bodies for their employment in somewhat cyberpunk setting. They just can't get a break. The only guy allowed to enjoy his job burns people on the pyre.
It's entertaining to read I suppose but the longer the game goes on the more it stands out. The game could use some people happily living their lives not being oppressed. Even the mc who is high status and doing objectively fun things acts like his dog died yesterday, except when he says "hell yeah" before a sex scene.

Thank you. I'm glad the feedback's good - and especially glad there's no feedback saying: "My ears got blown out in X scene, horrible sound mixing". Creative Commons music is free, but it's like playing minesweeper with shoddy mixing and indie artists randomly tweaking out their perfectly nice songs with techno earrape or something. Fun, but nerve-wracking!

There's a Sûreté officer in the Chainway Entrance that basically counts, armor and kill-count and everything. All Sisters are trained in weapons-handling, and Syrene is no exception - she might have a moment. A ganger in the undercity kind of stretches the question. And there's also a rebel militiawoman in the newest update! You *never* see her without her rifle.
Hah, oddly gratifying to read that. The version number shell game bugs me too, so I wanted my game to be very dull and literal with its version numbers. We'll move on to v0.3 when it's good and ready (and in a new city).
I changed it to trigger after you complete the first Sisterhood Soupline arc - not the first event. Since there's a whole part 2 and 3 to the soupline... but I didn't update the content guide and misled you. It's still wrong in the newest update, but already fixed for the next one.

Yes! Scratchy art and portraits is 100% me. Yes, but the only way is to be Rapport and make the right choices. The other facets just can't emphasize enough with the needs and worries of a custodial union leader to sway him.

Though I think you forgot to add an exeption on when going into ruins because the option doesn't vanish after doing it.
Same thing with the Idufs i think after exhausting their options their option doesn't vanish.

Not a vn but I got to recomend price for freedom and blacks souls two classics. Those are the game I consider more than just fap game (with this one of course)

At this point I'm starting to wonder if the sex scenes are an encumbrance to the game more than they are contributing. This is an extremely credible Visual novel that portrays the 40k universe with more authenticity and grittiness than a vast majority of other 40k games out there (and there's A LOT of them).
In a just world this would be blazing on steam with the sex scenes gone and the game standing proud on its own feet.

I honestly think you should just ditch the ai. The uncanny, model-like appearance of the ai characters clashes with the setting and generally looks off. It seems like you have the talent for it, or if you don't trust yourself yet doing that work will allow you to develop quite fast I think.
I understand why people lacking patience turn to ai, but I feel you're already at the point, or else so close to being able to deliver strong work with your own two hands that using the ai is just holding you back.
