Yep that's why I'm sticking with the stomachache skip route personally on my main save. I wanna give her this moment of feeling safe, and will hold out hope we can make it last. Even though I know I may end up regretting it since so many forces (including Akira himself) seem hell-bent on making sure that no happy ending will happen at this point.

This post details my thoughts on that scene in particular, I won't rehash them all here
I understand you have a completely green save now except for stomachache, would you share it? Preferably save to 0.47 content

Geez, it's not like I'm blind, I didn't want a completely green save, but green in everything but this event, and the online save editor couldn't add or remove variables. I already created it by changing the variables in the main save in the game console, though I had to dig around. But thanks for trying to help anyway)

Oh, yeah I misunderstood. My main save isn't fully green, it's a bad homie route and it's missed one or two lust events. So I couldn't help you anyways

The Morgan Freeman bit broke me.

I used to watch the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and his sidekick used to make a Morgan Freeman voice to narrate stuff. Lots of good memories.

Regardless, Himawari is the best character hands down.
Damn that was my favorite late night show. Loved Geoff. I think my favorite bit was the auqaman one. Or maybe awkward silence. It seemed like the guests always had a actual good time there. Dang I miss that one, haven't been able to get into a late show since.

Ok sorry back on topic... Yeah Himawari is great, I hope we have some good conversations with her soon.

make of this what you will:

Now, what does all of this really mean?

Seriously though, I have no idea. Probably means nothing, or maybe USER4 is a cat :ROFLMAO:
I did write about this before, but I guess the reset sadly erased your memory of it. I hear boxes can help with that. ;)
This one will probably sound a bit tinfoil. This is my understanding of the symbolic connection between gods and colors:
  • Green is Wires, reinforced by his connection with Maya.
  • Red is Pareidolia, reinforced by his connection with Sekai.
  • Blue is USER1, not to be confused with the light blue of Himawari/Ayane. There's no blue moon because Nozomu is fucking dead and HOPE's a fake (how's that as a teaser for a future post).
  • Purple is USER4, reinforced by their connection to Nao, whose color is purple according to Kaori.
Just before he fucks off, Pareidolia shows Sensei an image with a "happy family" of stick figures representing the trinity: red, green, and blue. There's no stick figure for USER4, but there is a white cat.

I wrote before about how the white cat shows up in some events where characters act uncharacteristically. At this point, I'm leaning toward Maya in "Trinity Pt. I", Kaori in "Wither", and Makoto in "T is for Time" all being manifestations of USER4 - which is doubly interesting because I think whoever appears as Maya in Trinity is the game's primary narrator.
(Still haven't written that HOPE post. Whoops.)

Since then we got more evidence that the "happy family" is the trinity: in Makoto's TSS a "happy family" of three rabbits is responsible for "reeducating" "Axelrod Adamson".

And also possible confirmation that blue is Hope's color, as it showed up in the sky for the first time (along with the usual red and green) during New Hope's reset.

In addition to the happy family image, "Friend" has two other references linking gods and cats. Pareidolia said that gods can turn into animals and that we might see him again as (specifically) a cat. One of the tooltips tells us to "watch out for cats" in connection with god.

So yeah, I think it's very likely that the white cat has some connection to USER4, and it's even possible that it is the former USER4. Of course it can't be that simple since Ami + Maya = USER4. It is known.

P.S. What's your opinion on "what happened in the hallway" I have recently posted? Do you think it could contribute anything to narrator theory?
Just before the reset some version of Ami was violently murdered in the hallway of the karaoke place, so I assumed that was what Rain King Ami was talking about. It's hard to say why Sensei would blame himself for it, but it could just be as simple as "I should have protected her."

That's what I have thought, but Ayane claimed that Akira didn't see or acknowledge the incident in the hallway of Karaoke.

And let me remind you, Ami specifically said that in the classroom out of nowhere. And Akira didn't "get upset and start thinking irrationally after the scene". Nor would I think Ami will remark her own death as simply something scare. If you haven't thought about it you can check my lastest post on it and its potential connection with Maya.

I still don't get why you think it would be best to drop the game after 0.48. What could possibly happen in 0.48 that would be worth seeing if I'm not sure I'm gonna stick around? Is it that something will happen that still encourages me to leave but I actually leave feeling happy and satisfied with it? I'm not entirely sure if I play to leave for good.
tl:dr If you don't care about the characters enough to pick waifus you could probably skip the update without missing it.
We've been given tentative changelogs since before the halloween update dropped all the way to 0.50, and 0.48 was a very special case. Everyone but Maki in that list has not had any real H progress (And Sel doesn't really drop updates without any H scenes in them) and some of the girls that people here want the most are in the update (Yumi, Uta, Touka) and two of them have 3 events which usually lead into very good chains instead of status update like events.
Couple that with the fact that it's 4 days away from release and it'd be a shame to miss an update that's likely to hype people up that close to release.

Meanwhile after that, if you do decide to take a break it would also line up with the fact that people aren't really hyped for the dorm wars which is happening afterwards. (Besides a chance for my noriko deflowering prediction to come true based on who's getting extra events, her getting two more events during 0.50 kinda threatens that though).
Add on to that the fact that 0.49 and beyond has just been delayed an extra month for LiLfest and you'd be taking a break during a time where you're not going to miss much and are more likely to commit to staying away since we'll be overanalyzing and shitposting and moaning about the Lilcord for a month before having lukewarm reactions to 0.49's previews.

I was getting ready to commit to red being HOPE's color since last summer at this point in time, HOPE was in control.
(also something something a moon / god is watching Nodoka at this point, Pareidolia is likely inside of Kaori at this moment, Hope is ready to come back during this event chain meanwhile Wires is ready to be corrupted and removed)

But I'm also mulling over the idea of 23 being upside down / backwards in general which could explain why it's following weird rules like being time looped, while 22 just seems to be a world that's just existing. If Akira is originally from there, when he disconnects from 23 during happy events it could explain why he starts speaking backwards / hearing backwards text, he's actually speaking normal, to him at least. (Though that could be a thread that just got dropped from earlier chapters)
