Also, I'm just getting started (Thanks to JDOR) and I'm really liking the introduced characters so far ... It appears we're eventually going to get the mustache-twirling villain, but early on the lack of "stupid-but-well-meaning" people has been a nice change-of-pace.

I think it's great that they are finally allowing mentally handicapped individuals to register and post at F95! Good for you, Buddy!!
Nah, I get his point, but it doesn't mean I'll change my game. Multiple paths would just make my workload too high, and the game wouldn't get finished. I want to tell the story, and it takes long enough for me to do that as it is. No need to make the wait for each update three times as long.
It's just a troll, hence my response. The same kind of complaint about it not having game mechanics was literally posted just a couple days ago. Even though the description in the OP states clearly this is a "visual novel."
Well if you like after you finished, you can always add paths, but for now, I have to say I'm glad there aren't any, it's just a interesting story to read...
Corruption path DLC, where instead of getting Esther out of custody, you spent that night with Tracy. I thought about it before. Not sure if I'll do it. Probably not

MMMMmmmm.... What could i say to this... insulting people don t make you look good too "buddy". insult are the weapon of the weak minded people as they said... And yes, i don t read all the forum before to give my opinion, not sorry if i think like other people few days ago maybe there is a right point here... A visual novel have gameplay, the choices. if not it is a kinetic novel, and it s not a game, a game without gameplay is not a game, it s just a book. you can read comics/manga but you can t play with them.
And to finish, i really don t care what a troll like you think of me.
So it s too hard and long for you to make a game and you prefer just write an ebook, ok. You are the dev, you can make it as you please, it s just not for me.
I wish i ve read somewhere before starting it this "game" will be a kinetic, maybe add a tag or some info in the dev note would be nice. It will help some people to no go for a ebook they will not enjoy. So for me it s end here.

An update with this beauty having some kind of role would be very nice...
man it would be a lot easier to get through the story if the opening 5 min did not already leave you with so many questions un answered XD
