No independently wealthy person teaches in a public American high school. College yes, not high school. But seriously, we all have our hang-ups. Gotta try to get by them – or move on.

For example: I don’t find the idea of a sexy woman getting out of an alley full of teen gangsters without getting raped unrealistic. I’m sure women can and do get out of such situations unmolested. It’s risky going in, even dangerous. But sexual assault isn’t a sure thing. There is SOME plausibility. Seeing Sophia forced to walk into that alley wearing a sexy tight revealing outfit will be erotic for me, probably erotic for Aiden, and possibly erotic for Sophia. That’s why the scene is possibly in the game. It COULD happen in RL, even though it isn’t LIKELY to happen in RL. That’s what makes it plausible enough to work for me.

I think I’ve speculated/guessed enough about what might happen in this event, but it COULD be that Sophia, who gets aroused exposing herself and even being touched in a room full of NICE, clean teen students, now finds herself surrounded by BAD, SCARY, thuggish teens, and feels some level of sexual arousal. And that’s it.

Or maybe Aiden will just say, “Your next task is such-and-such, see ya later,” and that’s it.

Encouraging to get a balanced, useful, well written comment. There's so much toxicity and needless personal criticism going round I was close to dumping this forum permanently, as many other casual contributors have done. Which would be a shame because there's some intelligent, articulate folks out there. (Some of the amusing and baser comments are great too!)
AWAM's a good game, we need comments like these without the nasty competitiveness or egos upsetting fans. You never know, we might even get L&P jumping on board a little more regularly. As long as that doesn't compromise speed of update, I hear you say!!!

The Morello version of this event will probably play out exactly the same (have the Sophia/Aiden/Gang interaction), then the Morello heavies show up and whatever happens between Morello's men and Aiden and his gang happens off screen. That way L&P can keep his options open later as to whether the Aiden problem was handled through violence or an "understanding" - or conceal that Aiden has actually just been told to lay off for a while until he gets the permission to resume. Basically, L&P doesn't paint himself into a corner.

I like the idea but can't stomach the thought of L&P creating a new environment for Aiden's bedroom. Well thought through but your experience of gangs must be different to mine. Arousal is certainly possible in the context of how this VN has progressed, while in RL the over-riding emotion would be passion-killing fear. I'll admit that in RL it's just possible for a woman to leave such a situation without being raped but if showing or groping is going to be involved, (& that seems highly likely, or why the outfit?), it will stretch credulity close to breaking point & not for the first time. It will be another 'accept it, or move on' moment, at odds with the dev's stated intentions for this VN. I can't be the only one here who is tired of being confronted with such moments.

Sophia's over-developed figure is possible, (just), at her age, (tho' not for much longer) but as I've said a few times, the sporting activities in which she engages are those which tend to reduce breast size, not to mention her gym time. That's one big diminishment of 'realism' for me. There was no need for the Dev's mutation of her fine figure, IMO. Stretch marks, blemishes etc., on characters don't reduce the erotic element, IMO, rather they enhance it, so long as they're not overdone, because the people become more believable. Looking at the flawless skins of many 3D model women is, for me, like looking at a tailor's dummy, or a doll, albeit sexy examples. It's just as well that Sophia has the odd mole here & there. Proportionate figures & average sized dicks should have been part of the main actor's physical characteristics in this game, (3 cheers for Liam), because it was supposed to have "class". [Turns out to be a flexible term, open to wide interpretation].

I agree that Bennett's back-story was unrealistic but if he'd been developed by L&P in a better way, he'd have made a more plausible candidate for the villainous blackmailer role, (with an adult mind-set, experience & imagination), than what we currently have. There'd also have been no need for meetings with gangs in isolated surroundings.

Places with the same name are not uncommon, especially across the Spanish, French & English speaking worlds. References to "soccer" are the clincher for San Alejo's U.S. credentials.

Yea, it's set in the USA, somewhere fictional that's hot and sunny. I must admit I thought the name was made up, but there actually is a "municipality" of San Alejo in El Salvador, plus a church of the same name. There's also a saint San Alejo.
Maybe that's where Sophia gets her nun-like persona, soon to change (we hope!) but takin' her time....

Not sure if he found this person or not. I'm no Dev, but why does the scenes need to be completed, plus the Art a percentage before programming and coding start. Why can you start at 25 to 50% on scene creation and then start art and coding. It seems like its easy scheduling to me and I see other Devs do it.

Sorry, but I think you are mistaken. This is imaginary city placed in imaginary country. It looks like California, but nowhere is mentioned that it is in California. "Soccer" is a word used in several countries, not only in USA.

I agree that there are a lot of references that points to USA but this was probably done for marketing purposes (people love Hollywood movies). Even assets, houses, windows, bar, school busses .... all looks like America, but it is pain in the ass to find assets that looks like German village .

I see no reason why L&P should avoid using real cities and states, but the fact is that he did. So, you are free to believe that this is USA, but you can't assume that the rules that apply in USA apply in this game. This is imaginary world reminiscent of USA, sometimes because L&P want that, and sometimes because he had no choice (except for some German cars at the beginning )
