maybe we misunderstood what the so-called biggest event ever really means

I'm still so fucking confused if that's the case or not but if so then it's just two small events thrown into one update. Doubt that was a teaser but just different angle of the final from the last update. Maybe we can get some clarification on that.

No. Read the last sentence. He's just saying that instead of being a follow-up event of Dylan part02, the Museum is gonna be an alternative event. So the player is gonna be able to play one or the other, not both. Next update is still only gonna be the Dylan event, but it's a big one with different approaches depending on how the player wants their "relationship" to evolve. What he means by that is likely cuck/non-cuck route and whatnot.

I'm not concerned about that right now, but just being able to play part 2 with Dylan. Trying to avoid starting back from the beginning. Just hoping we're able to turn down the date to stay with Dylan. Having that choice from day 2 affect something this important with no prior warning is.. I'll be nice and say unfortunate.

I've read that Dylan's event and museum one are exclusive. So if you're on Dylan's path, there's no way you'll get the museum event.

Patricia has some news
As you might have guessed, it's about the college guys from Day 2 who have finally invited the ladies for the nightly museum tour. Patricia, of course, has a very specific idea of the dress code for the “double date”. The decision lies with Sophia and her ridge of corruption.
Started working on the new update. The scene will consist of 4 sections and there will be two approaches, whose decisions will influence the further course and manner of Sophia's and Dylan's story. The script is more than 20 pages long! So there is still a way to go in any case. And of course the day will end with a grand finale highlight again.

PS: It has now turned out that the museum event will be an alternative event.

So perhaps the phone call still triggers regardless based exclusively on the day 2 choice but the Dylan path will supercede the museum route and she'll decline the date.

Considering Neil/Harris are very minor charcters I would of dropped the museum event as it will be probably only be for filthy points and we all know that Dylan will be the first to fuck his mother.

Since he is creating another crossroads point here, just like Dylan choosing Sophia or Ellie, Sophia may have to choose between Dylan or Patricia. It could be his way of stopping the request about Dylan going to the ranch since it fits into the threesome hints during the yoga event and keeps it strictly lesbian.
