I swear this doesn't work, I haven't been able to get Sami's moonstone no matter what corruptions I try. If I choose to "hide" beforehand the event just doesn't happen, I get the "bedcrawl" event instead. I have 143 corruption but I haven't found any way to trigger this

The most common cause of this is that the scene gets overridden by the other scenes or that you are at the wrong corruption level.

You've clearly gotten Lina's moonstone, I'll look into the variables, but for the time being, you should be able to unlock it manually in the debug cheats. If that's not working, send my your save so I can dissect it... I'll also send you back a fixed version.

Anyone know the exact conditions to get the altere cryptic note? I'm stuck trying to figure out how to run it by Cassidy and then run it by Alex.

Okay, so I managed to stumble across an exception when trying to click on the Map (or whatever it is that shows you the branches of the choices you make for one particular part of the day) icon when I'm bartering with Lina. I click on "Favour" and when I click on the aforementioned icon, this pops up.

Nunu312 There might be a bug in 42c for the Hunting Haily quest; I could not get Haily to show up with Carla on Sunday morning if the Hunting Haily quest was active (she would show up there if I did not start the quest) -> could not progress her corruption 4 path (downloaded 40d from Itch and it played out normally and let me finish the quest [then transferred that save to 42c and all was well]).

I'm in the same boat, world corruption is over 140, that path never opens for me. even with the debug cheats I can't unlock the moonstone/fertile corruption, just pregnant

Oh yeah, I found the cause for this.

It's... uh... the debug cheats.

The scene can only activate once, and if you use the debug cheats it trips that flag. You can bypass this by un-revealing it for a run.

It occurs to me that Haily talks a lot about Bess, but never calls her mom. It's interesting because we see MC and Sami say it, and even Alex says it, I think.

Sami needs to be at 3 corruption I believe, higher won't trigger it.

I can't find this. Feels like I tried everything, every corruption for Carla and Sami and multiple love/jealousy/suspicion amounts and nothing happens. I've searched this thread and googled and I guess I must suck at searching because I can't find the answer anywhere. Someone just tell me how to get this.

I don't think the exception translates well into the forum because of different symbols not being supported unless screencapped or something else that would properly show the code/script or whatever.
