After testing a few maps on some old games, deepseek actually does slightly better imo. Will try testing a game and see how well it does.

You can also run it locally which imo is better than making api calls since you won't need to pay for rate limits and slower response time due to traffic on Deepseek's end. There's also more privacy since you won't be communicating with external servers anymore(Open Source FTW!).
