I started playing this game relatively late, so I have not followed its development well as opposed to other projects.
Anyone who has ever delved into it or tried to make even a render or a few lines of code knows that it is a complicated job full of unforeseen events, so I have always tried to put myself in the developers' shoes and not criticize them.
I personally believe that ByteHog has not yet earned the infamous title of “milker” because I think the problem in his case is different.
This title has a number of elements that make it much more playable in the sense that it is not just a VN or a story with a few choices here and there. This is why I think Byte has fallen into the trap that many AAA developers fall into; they tend to lose sight of what would really appeal to players while enhancing the gaming experience. Focusing on novel environments, relatively unhelpful features such as in the case of mobile, mini-games, and more that rest on a weak balance between added value and heavy-handedness that often risks disrupting the gaming experience.
All of this, in my opinion, adds little value or excitement, and when I consider development time plus setbacks, what little positive is nullified.
I am not saying that you should just do what the players want but perhaps focus on the constituent elements of the game and then if anything try to add details.

Buddy, this game’s initial release was 2-ish years ago. So are you claiming that just 1 event has been added since the initial release? Not even an update? Then how come we are on version 0.6 and soon 0.7 will be released?

Let me correct you. 5 updates and 3 extra side episodes released in 2 years. Nearly 20 events in total.

No, my gripe (and what i hope most here have an issue with) is that in the sea of crap and incompetence he has shown promise for a moment before falling back down to the level of crap we get here. It has a lot of potential that is wasted on pointless feature bogging down development. Like he said he's been working on some minigames and some Cellphone feature for the game. Who gives a flying fuck about those in a porn visual novel? We're all here for limited choice that bifurcate into sex scenes. If I wanna play a game I'll play a real game. I've got enough minigames in Final Fantasy Rebirth to last me for weeks. I'm not looking to play minigames in Gunpowder cocktail. I just want to see big tits milf and teen get pounded by big NTR dicks.

Not defending the dev but I imagine he's creating mini games for his own personal skill development. Many of us won't care but he might do.

you should read back in the discord and you will find me almost being banned for arguing with the dev before the steam release, I am not afraid to go after a dev when I think they are doing wrong I do it all the time.

sure the update was supposed to be in January but the dev has been communicating and hasn't just went AWOL on us so I'm willing to give grace for now. If your not that's fine by me but I will disagree with anyone calling him a milker, he really doesn't make enough to earn that moniker.

Basically the dev got a serious case of hyper fixated on unnecessary things that he need to redo everything because he irritated with it. Yeah, we'll be lucky if we even get to have 1 update every 2 years at this point
