lol yes, but software/VN versions aren't math. There are various versioning schemes developers use. TTrick increases the number as if counting from 1 to 100 (or higher). So, next we'll have 0.10, then 0.11, 0.12, and so on.

Your main distribution channel is the "latest updates" tab on f95. If your game appears there too often with disappointing amounts of content, that fosters a ton of resentment. You won't see it in comments, but it's there.
Indeed, beggars can't be choosers. Sure I personally want more frequent updates as well, but you can't always get what you want. Especially if what you want isn't realistic. I'm willing to wait either way. This kind of feels the same with some authors on webnovel who write the novel also as a passion project. One author in particular, he even wrote some chapters while doing his bacholor's or master's degree in uni. Sometimes he doesn't write because he's too busy. I may not like that but I'm not gonna complain that he should write more, no I wish for him to succeed so that I can read more eventually =P
I don't think having 5 LIs is all that much. This game would be so boring if it only focused on Bobblehead and Slutnessa. The problem is the distribution of content between them had heavily favored those too. Any other girl in the game is plot advancement, I suppose, and offers content for non-NTR players. Amber with Mario. Angela with Grandpa. Ivy as an alternative to whatever Ann would be doing with guys while on campus. There will probably be more side chicks (hopefully hot ones) that Chris will offer for the sharing deal. Those won't make much a difference because they're one or two-offs.
I don't think most sensible people would complain about 3-4 times per year.
aye the branching can be a bit much, not enough time to satisfy everyone with the content they want. I like most of it, different situations and perspectives, all good. But I have my favorite routes and wouldn't mind seeing more of them. Like you said, the Ann hate one is one of those that I play, but not a huge fan of it. Replay value is a good point. What I wouldn't mind is an easier system to get on the path you want, not easy to figure that out blind, especially for a first time player. Even I had to fuck around a bit until I managed to sort them out.
By the way, what sets up joe rival? If you cuck him with slutnessa instead of having a threesom? And whats the sharing deal? I've seen Chris the last time when he distributed Backdoor Merry...
