There was a Patreon post in January where they said they hoped to finish the update by the end of that month. Obviously that didn't happen, but it seemed like the dev is making plans for what to do. I think it's a typical case of solo dev with more ideas than time, and they don't want to release things until they feel that it's perfect, and then they get bogged down/overworked/burnt out or life gets in the way or whatever else.

But who also doesn't keep us all in the loop.

That's unprofessional. Especially when you have people paying your bills. If you are taking longer? SAY THAT. Post what you ARE up to. You can't blame people from feeling it's dead when it looks, feels and smells dead.

I'm not saying anything about professionalism, I'm just saying that the dev is still actively trying to work on the game. And the last update was less than 2 months ago so it's still better than lots of other games tbh

To be fair, its a monthly patreon, not giving a monthly update for your monthly income is a bit rude, alot of devs do this complete lack of updates, but it doesnt make it ok

... we dont need a game update on a monthly basis, but either an explanation of work done or even an excuse is preferable to silence

The 3 rules for marking it abandoned are:

1: 18 months of the game not being updated.
2: 3 months of silence from the developer on Patreon, Subscribestar, etc etc.
3: The developer requests it.

Since the last game update was 7 months ago and the latest post on Patreon was 13 days ago it will not be marked abandoned.

Well we all need to be incognito at times
It is a fine game, we just need an update, to be sure the DEV still is ok (feets up, head down or the other way around, depending which hemishphere he live on)

I have finished the game and done every event available (at least according to the entries which all say "That's all for this version") but the Gallery has an entire character locked. Is that a bug or is it simply not implemented in the game yet? The final image in the first page shows an entry in the Gallery for both Fauna and Dolla but as you can see, such a thing doesn't exist in my game.

The gallery isn't fully implemented, it seems like you've unlocked everything that can be at the moment.

I used to love this game but It's been a whole year since the dev said he was working on the Tara update and the story of Fauna and Dolla and he's still not done ? I understand that he's probably working alone on it, but still, we're at the point of having 1 small update a year on a visual novel, i think this is getting a bit ridiculous at this point.

Ya I think this dev just sucks at coding and is getting overwhelmed with what should be basic shit. There's also probably an element of laziness involved as well. At least they're not making stupid excuses about poor health and "my north korean helper disappeared" like another similar game.

Strong sounds like his perceived quality rather than any amount of length for that time spent. I prefer quality and I actually prefer longer game update intervals so each update is significant and the dev doesn't feel the need to force sex scenes too often but I'm not sure what scripting issues could even be occuring in such a simple game.
