Didn't even make it to the campus without softlocking due to broken geometry. RPGMaker is not the engine you want to make a game with this kind of movement in, holy shit.

One piss scene and one implied scat scene. Also a picture of some trampling on loss. That's it.
Good luck getting past the out of bounds. I have no fucking idea what the designer of this was smoking.
dude i cant even get passed the 3rd piece of dialogue.. main quest 1 bus driver dialogue... its the third text box in the game..

Is it normal* if windows virus protection blocks the archive for me? Gave me a system notif saying it detected "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" and removed the zip file. Figured I'd ask and be sure before redownloading.
edit: I mean normal as in normal for an rpgmaker game. I know it's more common for stuff like cracked software and games... but I don't think this falls under that.

Alright, well... I ended up redownloading and scanning with a few different tools including Malwarebytes. Those didn't pick anything up, so I'll just chalk it up to some kind of false positive. I still think it's weird, especially since I haven't encountered a game in rpgmaker giving this kind of thing.

the creators said they were wanting to hear feedback, well I was able to play it only after editing the json files "because the audio file's, have name as the whole dialogues!.ogg" and having commas and all that kind of junk in your filenames likes to break everything.
anyway the new version is promising at a glance but its sooooo shot, you will spend the majority of the "demo" slowly walking across the campus, which is HUGE!! you can't run, none of the buildings do anything, here is no click to move which is surely mandatory in a game you are supposed to play with one hand..
for some reason they baked a fucking bounty hunter game where you hunt down, stab, shoot and murder girls with a crossbow into their collage game...
What the actual, its not even a subtle side event its baked into the core of the actual story? why???? go make vampire hunter collage if that's the game you want to make? it would make more sense.
I was almost for certain the school head was going to give me the ability to opt out of being a bounty hunter? because she kinda is trying to convince you but no! you just automatically agree to this, why not make me work cleaning the girls fucking girls dorms or something on theme to pay my rent??? it would be more fitting but don't make me go hunt the girls down and fucking kill them in a game where I am supposed to be the mc as a sub???? a game that is supposed to be about femdom and if you lose? do that beat you up? bad end anything like that? no you just get a do over...

this game has been indev for 6 months? the voices are AI generated which I don't mind but are relitivily simple to genreate, some are actually good but why did it take this long? for such a short demo with basic graphics and almost no content?
tbh I can look past the graphics, it can add some charm but the horrible level layout, its too big, you have to move around too much and if you told me this demo was thrown together in a few weeks I would have been impressed, still questioned the direction but impressed.
I just wanted to rant. drop my feedback and didn't really feel like putting this as a review.

Does an RPG game (or Game made in rpgmaker) even need voices? I'm fine with just reading text but I guess that is just me.

Could say the same about the long unskippable intro scenes and the inventory being separated form the menu.
I personally think the voices are jarring, sometimes unfitting. I feel like there should be a volume slider or mute option for it. Granted, I didn't play it past meeting Gwen. Not to mention the jank walk animations and terrible map clipping issues.
I entered one of the areas past... aurora way I think? Eventually ended up stuck at the top of a map and walked around THROUGH a building. Then the game dropped to like 5 fps. That's when I quit and deleted it.
Extremely botched and rushed release IMO...
Edit: Just about forgot the icing on the cake. The fact that it was flagged as a Trojan for me and some others. Not a good look.

- Changed the previous patch note to show 12/1 as the release date instead of 11/30.
- Renamed all Voice Files to a maximum of 31 characters, as a lot of people had file extraction problems.
- Buffed Crossbow damage to 20, to slightly speed up combat.
- You may now use SHIFT to sprint while inside the city.
- The player is now transparent at game start, as they should.
- Minor fixes to dialogue and icons.

I believe all the brothers who follow this game have been waiting for a while since October, and finally had their first trial in December. However, with a capacity of one G, the actual scenarios are few and far between.
I really want to talk about the good part first: as my friend upstairs said, voice acting in this type of game is secondary, or rather, it's just icing on the cake. I personally think that the most important aspects of the experience are the images and text. However, during the trial, I was often amazed by the background illustrations. I know not everyone likes them, but I do quite like the watercolor paintings of various buildings and food (which can be found in the image folder.
But that's still not the point! Even though the art style and character images make me happy, they cannot compare to the frustration caused by the lack of content I am a little disappointed that two or three small scenes have been exchanged for more than half a year. In addition, Sunshine Coast Academy and Domina are both linear games in terms of gameplay. I hope Maple Mountain Academy can make it more comprehensive and better than these two, allowing the protagonist to have various factions to choose from. If there is only one choice, bounty hunters, it would be a bit wasteful of Maple Mountain Academy's big stage.
