What patch? You don't need anything. Everything is already inside and ready.
Also check your AV, maybe it's blocking BepInEx.

This is nekotto island 1.39. Yuki-X cracked it and I'm uploading it with distribution & uncensored.

New version just dropped on this thread (check kmen77's post)
so download that as is, copy over everything into the folder (or delete old one and make a new one) and you should be able to play it without censors. no changes at all need to be done
if you still have issues, your antivirus might have sniped a file by mistake.

Its safe or not if i copy paste over it the other version 1.38? i will not lose my save tho if i do it this?

yeah, you can overwrite all the 1.38 files. although it's easier to just delete the old folder and make a new one. the saves aren't in the game folder anyway (they're hidden deep within the C drive on your PC/laptop)

the dev of the game is working on a new game and have just posted an update on it on twitter/X
so is 1.39 looking like the final version? I'd like to know before i download this game for like the fifth time.

probably not. and at the rate people and updates are going, you may end up waiting for a year or two before the updates stop

so long as the game keeps getting the attention it is getting then it will still get updated till there is nothing else to update. that is how I see it anyway

the devs actually want to work on other games too. but this game is easily their most popular one, which is why they keep updating it.
they've done 2 other games already (one was even about playing the stock market to be able to take care of a mesugaki succubus loli).
but between content requests and the fact that this is currently their largest game, it keeps getting update patches

even with the bugs, it is a good game. I don't blame the fans for wanting the dev team to work out the bugs, but I still feel that what I said a while back still holds true. the devs should eventually put their focus on other games and do bug fixes and new features for this game on the side.
