Like it hasn't been for the last 10+ years you mean? LIke..the actual plot?

Even for the past 10 years he spent a lot of his time training and doing other stuff. He wasn't solely hunting down Taron and hasn't been for the entire game. Dropping everything to search for Taron when the king is already hunting him down is just kind of a waste of time. Somebody is going to find him

Nobody knows were Taron is though. Imo it makes more sense to wait for him to make a move or wait for the king to find him than to drop everything and search nonstop for him. Wanting to kill Taron doesn't mean it has to be his singular focus.
Cmon now. If MC is busy fucking everyone, there's no time for Taron. Besides, from the Eliza incident, we know Taron wants the MC to get angry and do something about it, so killing him plays into the hands of the people behind Taron.

Ignoring him is the best call for now. Keep building power and then Taron will be a minor speedbump while we introduce larger scale villains in act 2.

I forgot.. why are we on this island again? And exactly why is it that we can’t just leave.

Seriously. I’m fine with the MC taking off that necklace and just telling the backwater villagers “peace, I’m out”.

I dun wanna be the king of hobo island. I dun wanna be the servant/champion of some moss lady god.

All I want it to kill Tarok.. ehh, Talon? That’s the goal, kill the guy and get the girl (Eliza).

The End.

“But what about the kingdom and the political stuff.. and the other Nephilim.. and the angel guy from the intro”

Listen.. I don’t care.

Plot of this game is basically Meet LI > Seduce her and have her join your harem > LI gets crippled/kidnapped > Game pushes her out of the story so you can meet and seduce another LI > Go into a quest to save her > Repeat

King seems pretty incompetent so far. I wouldn't trust him to have any success looking into Taron. He can't even manage family and ruling his country.

There isn't time for Taron either way. He's missing and nobody knows where he is. You can either waste a bunch of time searching for him wth no leads while the entire kingdom is already on it. Or you can get more power and do other stuff

I just don't really see why Taron is a pressing issue when he's pretty much beaten at this point and in hiding. You'll get revenge eventually. Might as well move along with other plans you have for after like building a house or getting more powerful. I just don't really see why the MC needs tunnel vision in order to get revenge. Plus Diana says she'll help him if he helps her with this so that's even more reason to go to the island

We haven't seen him do enough of anything to say he's incompetent or not. As for managing his family. It's eh, his relationship with his daughter feels normal to me and he married his wife for politics and doesn't really care about her. Seem normal to me.

In defense, I don't give a fuck about Taron. He's been insignificant to me pretty much ever since he got dressed down when talking to others in that cult.

For the king, I've seen enough to know he's incompetent. Wouldn't be surprised for him to wind up assassinated so that MC can make bolder moves on the Queen. She's already stopping by his room at night.
