Yes, but I don't want weird folders popping up on my computer, empty or not. I bring it up for others so they can delete it, as I'm certain 99% have taken 0 screenshots.

I have Intel(R) hd 3000 and NVIDIA Geforce GT 720M graphics cards that clearly do not support vulcan video drivers. I am unable to launch
the game as it gives the error "Unable to initialize Vulcan video driver. maybe there is a way to fix this error. if so, which one?

Godot does have a flag to manually force OpenGL mode, But the developer uses a custom Godot build, so it may be disabled.
Said flag would be --rendering-driver opengl3
The only update they do is talk in their patreon and say that they are indeed "cooking"

Happy to inform you that, just this very day, I got to post an ACTUAL update. It's available through Patreon and Subscribestar, and in a few weeks, it'll be open to the public.
...then again, considering what this site is, I'm sure you'll be playing it before that. I'm glad to finally be able to make posts like that. With any luck, I'll be able to post more, and much more quickly, as it comes down the line.

The whole drawn 2.5D style for the maps is nice and all, but Amber's misaligned at the open "Purple = Good"-something door. Can't proceed.
Edit: Forewarning for anyone else trying the new build, ratboi saying "Uh Oh" during the security room dialogue has a chance of freezing the game.
Edit 2: Might be best to wait for v0.2.7.5 hotfix. Out on SubscribeStar already. Insert lyrics to that one Bonnie Tyler song here.

... somehow testing CTRL never crossed my mind. Kinda assumed S would be crouch if there was a crouch key.

Though didn't find much. Only other doors are a deadend coffeeshop with a WIP NPC, and a room with a radio and a "staff hallway" door which won't open. And the room locks you in. Prompt for leaving it is missing.
Edit: Forgot to mention the lack of a save feature btw. Whenever you get stuck, you get to enjoy the intro shibang before RNG-freeze Rat all over again.

The shutter room bug was brought to the programmer's attention promptly, and a hotfix was pushed out to fix it. There was supposed to be a second door, but for some ungodly reason, this was only an issue on Windows PCs. Makes absolutely no sense, but it is fixed now.
Since we've got this new update out, I'm gonna be checking here a lot more frequently to forward any found bugs or issues to the programmer. Gotta cover all of the bases, right?

Oh, for sure! I mentioned it before, but I was a player long before I was a developer for this project. At the very least, I can keep an open mind, and check in with the entire playerbase, rather than a small pool of them! I don't hold any expectations, I'm not gonna pull any 'Ooghhh, now you HAVE to subscribe!!!" speeches.
At the end of the day, you're playing the game because you enjoy it, or want to see what it will become, and that's something that I will wholeheartedly support.

I dunno, some people earlier in the thread were complaining about how you blew up the content that was already in the game and started over, but the new engine definitely feels a lot smoother and the opening chapter feels much more coherent. Here's hoping the game doesn't go to the big content farm in the sky due to slow development pace.
