That's an almost existential question. The best answer I can give is: it is what it isWhy are some parts laggy and sometimes crashes?
still hours left browaiting all night for the update![]()
Yeah, same for me. Those parts where there is a mini message bar on left side drops the fps to 1, and the animation also peaks at about 30-ish fps. If these are fixable please guide how to, if not its still okay thanks! Why are some parts laggy and sometimes crashes?
If he posts the update as the time he usually posts his progress reports at, you still have a good couple hours to waitwaiting all night for the update![]()
also help me reset the saves workI am in the part where Kirito is in the hospital, and Inoda is supposed to show him a picture if we choose to, but Inoda is invisible. If I select to see the image, the game does not proceed (because Inoda is not visible?) View attachment 4493889
I mean, RPGM games can be complex and huge while also being polished and mostly bug-free, but those kinds of games are usually made by studios, not solo developers. I also think a challenge would be making the world outside of combat engaging since a simple grind-fest of 100 levels probably wouldn’t be as popular. This might be silly to say, but I watched Solo Levelling lately and it's got me thinking an SAO/SL game in RPGM (even one that's not hentai/ntr) could actually be quite fun, too. But I guess I'm just a sucker for this game engine. Imagine having to grow stronger and fight your way through the 100 levels of Aincrad, in a traditional RPGM JRPG style! I've started playing the 3d SAO games (starting with Re:Hollow Fragment), and I think their weird complexity wouldn't match the charm of a simple RPGM SAO game.
True, but there'd be a similar in-game/real life split and thus plenty of space for character interactions. You'd only need to hit the canon story beats (of which there are MASSIVE gaps between in SAO), and you can fill in the gaps with whatever story you feel like. Probably with cringe almost-harem story as it's SAO, but still.I mean, RPGM games can be complex and huge while also being polished and mostly bug-free, but those kinds of games are usually made by studios, not solo developers. My issue with that idea is I doubt many people would want to make 100+ maps for battles. It would be easier if there was randomly generated maps but I doubt RPGM can do that. If you reuse maps for battles over and over, it would get boring for the players. This might be silly to say, but I watched Solo Levelling lately and it's got me thinking an SAO/SL game in RPGM (even one that's not hentai/ntr) could actually be quite fun, too.
