Overall, despite the issues I found it quite enjoyable in the current state. The progression with each character and the scenes where you are almost caught are sometimes the best I've seen. Art is overall quite solid and 2 of the character designs are to my liking.
As with many of these visual-novels with an explorable environment, I wish there were icons in the corner to quickly jump to the specific spot you want to go to. It doesn't help that you have to be in your room to skip-forward time and most of the events are only available at a specific time of day.
Also, there is no way to show your current relationship with the characters, or a hint at what you need to do next to progress their story.
There appears to be no way to rewind or see a transcript of what was recently said. Terrible.
Clicking on your room on the right and then having your room orient the reverse way is disorienting. Terrible design.
