No , the problem is not the stuff besides the girls (ex crypto bros) , those make the world feel more real , not just a horndog simulator, the problem is the pace the updates release , if the dev will work more time and release an update such as this one every 2-3 months , the quality will skyrocket. Also the idea of introducing new characters isnt a bad thing , i agree he needs to focus more on the main cast (or at least the main girls people go after) . But all in all the reboot isnt bad by no means , the bugs and lack of score info is concerning ( in every of my saves since the 0.1 some screen stays frozen and overlapse , or sometines it doesnt even show properly )

Personally, I’m really happy with how the new version is coming along. If you gave it a real try, you’d probably realize how massive the upgrade actually is. Sure, I’m only about a third of the way through compared to the old content, so some paths aren’t developed yet — but again: forget your ex. I promise, the next girl’s going to be better. Oh i'll just patiently wait, been doing that since i still found the game worth it. But you gotta admit that it can sting, especially when it comes to some aspects and specific girls. Imagine going through the older version, and it going up to 1.55 , all while you're trying to score and progress with multiple difficult or yet unavailable characters such as Tatiana and the infamous couple swinger swap that seems to never happen, Adele, Riley, Elsa, Irene, Vanessa, Andrea etc ... and then Yonk you're told to restart, not get attached, without much certainty about those same characters and their progress. It's a bit underwhelming

Being a bro to DAvid - They always compete - so getting friendly to him and not compete is insane and goes against the whole dynamic MC and him have. The guy always talks how him and/or MC should get this or that girl, actively competing for girls, so treating him like Diddy to get into his parties feels so much out of character for MC: their whole relationship is buit on rivalry, so whenever MC is a lame duck simp, he already lost DAvid and the whole plot.

Also with MAud, she effectively stole Krsten - MC lost his slave to her. MC even declares war on MAud and vows to get Kirsten back - so looking to make her the only path to Kristen is against the whole plot of the game and even negates MC and his feelings and his ambitions - becoming the simp slave to Maud is a tired counterintuitive road to take.

The MC doesn’t become anyone’s property, and he doesn’t become anyone’s slave (unless the player wants that).
His friendship with David can remain a healthy rivalry when it comes to most of the girls — and at the same time, for example, they can go out together, pick up two girls, and even swap them, if their relationship is good.


All the girls in the game (except for Melissa at the very beginning) will only go with David after Y has failed with them.
There won’t be any surprises like Ashley in the previous version.
If a girl ends up choosing David, it’s because the MC didn’t succeed with her and the time window to get her has expired.


So this is not about being “subordinate” to David, but about accepting the competition — and accepting that not all girls will want to sleep with the MC.
(Some girls even exclude others — like in the case of Ashley and Tatianna early in the game: if you’re currently pursuing Ashley, you won’t make progress with Tatianna.)


As for Maud, the initial paths are varied.
You can play along with her games if they benefit you (and still try to steal Kirsten from her).
That whole dynamic between MC, Kirsten, and Maud can be built on manipulation, with everyone pretending to get what they want while aiming for something else.
But if you go in guns blazing, trying to “win back” Kirsten by treating her like she’s still your submissive… that’s going nowhere (and frankly, it wouldn’t be realistic).


Kirsten is deeply hurt by the MC, and there need to be specific steps for the relationship to rebuild — including the fact that she’ll want to test you before she can trust you again.
So if you think you can go to a Maud party, helicopter your dick around, and Kirsten will kick Maud’s ass and come crawling back to you… I probably have some bad news.


If instead you manage to convince Maud and Kirsten to include you in their games, you’ll gradually gain power.
Remember: even in the original version, at some point MC managed to gain certain things from Kirsten.
In this version, the paths will just be a bit clearer — it just takes a little more time (probably until Week 6) to put all the scenarios together and guide short-term choices toward the right path.


In Week 5, your relationship with Maud is defined.
In Week 6, your relationship with Kirsten will be defined.
From there, the paths will run in parallel, and your choices each week will shift the story in one direction or another.

You all know the issues that version had — you described them in painful detail back in the day, post after post. Then I decide to rebuild the whole thing to get rid of those structural problems (and I really mean structural), and suddenly that’s not okay either. Apparently, it was better when the game barely worked, when paths were unreachable without cheating, etc.

Speaking of paths and previous version, can you tell what changed on Meadow path?
In old version, I played friendly path with her.
In new version - same. Declined her "offer" at day 16 ( picked "there is no need"), but on day 21 MC ended up having sex with her (I had no option to decline her). I looked in the code and there IS option to decline her at day 21, but for some reason it wasn't offered to me, despite I did everything same as in old version. Is it bug in new version, or some choices needed to be picked differently?
